HLST 1050 Structural Theory and Pathology
This course covers the theories behind structural systems in historic structures. Engineering forces will be covered including: deflection and crack analysis, structural loads, shearing and bending forces. This course discusses and examines the processes of deterioration of historic buildings. Students will be able to methodically examine, analyze common problems and develop solutions that will be structurally, historically and economically valid.
